PRINSIP KELAKAR DAN PRINSIP DAYA TARIK DALAM WACANA CAKCUK (JOKE AND ATTRACTION PRINCIPLES IN CAKCUK DISCOURSE)

Abstract


Masalah penelitian ini ialah bagaimanakah penerapan prinsip kelakar dan prinsip daya tarik pada karya desain CakCuk. Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan prinsip kelakar dan prinsip daya tarik dalam karya desain CakCuk. Sesuai tujuan dan masalah itu, kajian ini menggunakan teori pragmatik yang berkaitan dengan prinsip kelakar dan prinsip daya tarik. Kajian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data berupa suvenir CakCuk yang memuat adanya pemakaian bahasa. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode simak. Analisis data menggunakan metode agih, komparasi, dan padan kontekstual. Hasil kajian ini, pertama, penerapan prinsip kelakar dalam wacana CakCuk. Prinsip kelakar, yakni berupa tumpuan simpulan dibuat tidak benar dan simpulan juga dibuat tidak benar; pelanggaran terhadap maksim-maksim dari prinsip-prinsip sopan santun secara sengaja; dan pengungkapan hal-hal tabu di dalam tuturan. Kedua, penerapan prinsip daya tarik dalam wacana CakCuk. Prinsip daya tarik memiliki dua komponen, yaitu stilistik teks dan pesan teks. Stilistik teks dibangun melalui tuturan harafiah berupa bentuk metafora dan plesetan. Pesan teks, menyangkut keadaan dan perilaku sosial yang buruk di dalam masyarakat, heroisme dan patriotisme, budaya, serta kuliner.

 

Research problem is how to apply jokes and attraction principle on CakCuk design. Objective of the research is to describe application of joke and attraction principle on CakCuk design. According to the objective and the problem, the research uses pragmatic theory relating to joke and attraction principle. The research is qualitative descriptive. The data source comes from CakCuk souvenir which contains language usage. Data are collected by using scrutinize method. Data analysis uses distributional, comparison, and contextual equation. This research result as follows. Firstly, joke principle has been applied on CakCuk discourse. Joke principles, namely conclusion base and conclusion are made incorrect. Violence of maxims on politeness principles are used intentionally. Utilization of taboo are delivered. Secondly, attraction principle on CakCuk discourse has been applied. Attractiveness principle has two components, namely stylistic text and message text. Stylistic text is arranged by using literal words in form of metaphor and spoof. Message text represents bad situation and social behavior in society, heroism and patriotism, culture, and culinary.
